Behind the Bandana

With this blog, I hope to inspire other Pretty Dykes and lesbians alike to live for our authentic selves. Whether our hobbies include cars, building cool shit, or complimenting others on their fashion choices, we deserve to be proud of our hobbies and to be kings of what we're good at.
"I give you tomboy fashion and satire in this blog for what we now know as Pretty Dyke Fashion."
Why a blog?
In the last year, I have really made an effort to focus on what it means to be one's authentic self. I personally have always dressed more tomboy, even at a young age, and I cannot deny that I absolutely love clothes and tomboy fashion. I have discovered, however, that living your authentic self does not mean you are immune to ridicule and unsolicited opinions. People say things- sometimes mean and sometimes encouraging. I wish that all people would give encouraging words of empowerment, but that is not the case for a lot of humanity, my dudes. To live your authentic self is to be proud of who you are as an individual and (Oh please, within reason! And maybe in a more professional manner) anyone who tells you otherwise, tell them to fuck off.
As a way to express myself I started with what I love- and I love clothes. Along with my hobby of tomboy fashion, another outlet for myself is satire. And here it is- I give you tomboy fashion and satire in this blog for what we now know as Pretty Dyke Fashion.
